The West Windsor Plainsboro Dance Company is a New Jersey not-for-profit performing company affiliated with The Dance Corner. The West Windsor Plainsboro Dance Company is dedicated to providing the opportunity for dancers from age 3 through adult to perform before public audiences. Our dancers have chances to display their talent in a broad range of dance styles and, through the rehearsals, our dancers develop their existing technique. While we focus on the performance as an end result, our performers receive a much more lasting benefit. We encourage students to take risks, to grow as individuals, to work as a group, and to achieve their goals. WWPDC dancers gain a sense of self-esteem, grow as artists, and learn the importance of teamwork, as well as responsibility to their peers and directors. We take pride in our performances, but we cherish the contribution we make to our community through the development of our performing artists.
WWPDC presents one or two performances each year. Each fall, WWPDC holds open auditions for our production of The Nutcracker. Some years we also announce auditions for a spring show. If you are interested in becoming a part of one of our productions, watch our announcements page for details. Our auditions are open to the public. You do not need to be a student at The Dance Corner to participate.
